Hi all,

Despite thinking about this site fairly constantly, I have clearly fallen off with writing. School and work have just taken precedence. I’m feeling so close to being done that I need to put my head down and get this Master’s finished!

The big topic I have wanted to discuss here (and have brought up in previous posts) is one that is finally in front of so many: systemic racism in Canada. Yes, this impacts the outdoors – all you have to do is look around and see the overwhelming whiteness in the outdoor industry. I am unable to take this topic on right now. I cannot do justice to this topic but I assure you that it is top of my mind. 

I promise I will be back. In the meantime, get outside and play safe.
